'The Brussels sprout, scourge of the Sunday roast, have been
hated for generations but its Kale-crossed cousin is taking middle class
supermarkets by storm' reported Patrick Sawer in the Telegraph on line.
Super veg sleuth Patrick tracked down the breeders “At first supermarkets found it a bit odd to look at,” said
Dr Jamie Claxton, Tozer’s director of plant breeding. “But with the resurgence
of kale it has become massively popular.
The bigger news it that Sian’s grown flower sprouts on the allotment
so we have plenty and more! Yummy in my tummy!
