DOWN ON THE FARM IN CHARLOTTE STREET

Whilst Charlotte Street was wondering where the summer went I went to make a drawing of Ollie and Pete's new bar-restaurant called Barn Yard. Stripped down, industrial and buzzy, (they us the same interiors company as the All Saints stores group)

I got comfy with beer and my Moleskine to do my thing. The place was full of confident young men with verdant beards and female companions comparing tanned forearms.

Barn Yard is nicely portrayed by Time Out >> http://bit.ly/YXA2kt  'Barnyard’s walls are corrugated iron, the tables stripped planks; plates are enamelled, some seats are oil drums. But wait a minute, isn’t this the latest venture from Ollie Dabbous, a chef so cutting edge he could probably chop down a wild elderberry shrub with his bare hands while out foraging.' Of the modernist restaurant Dabbous, the one that’s fully booked until the northern hemisphere runs out of chilled pine infusions and fig leaf broth?
