Arriving in Bequia

FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY

After four hours and 38 nauticalmiles we dropped the anchor in Bequia. This is the northern most part of ourjourney. It starboard-close hauled most of the way the sea slapping us like adrunk in bar.

Sea as deep and dark can be contrasted against a pale blue sky.The outhaul rope chatters against the boom and the wind strikes up a singlenote through our shrouds.

Occasionally a shoal of flying fish skim andskirt around our bows. Dark Seas continuous until St Vincent and we tack andhead east to line Cloud Nine up for our entry in Bequia.

Calm inside the mooring area and we are closeto the beach and Jack's Bar were there is promise of a beverage later in ourstay here.
