I brought Sian to my home in the highlands over New Year’s,
the Scourie Hotel. We were
guests of Richard, Fiona and Charlotte Campbell who in less than twelve months
have transformed Scourie Hotel into a very special place for fly fishermen and
anyone who travels to this special part of the Scottish Highlands.
At the end of March the hotel re-opens
after winter, to welcome guests again.
The Campbell’s
live in a house across from the hotel. During our stay Storm Fred prevented me from going out
so I was obliged to make drawings looking out from the dinning room window.
