It is the home of the Royal
Horticultural Society's Wisley Gardens.
Outside the Shop and Coffee shop we meet
old friends Simon and Margaret.
Most of Surrey and a large portion of posh
south London had the same idea to visit Wisley, as it was the first sunny
Saturday for a long time.
The River Wey (as in Weybridge) runs through the village and
we retired to another throng at a local pub right on the river, the Anchor at
Pyrford (pear tree ford) and joined the balance of Surrey in the pub or by the
water’s edge.
All very jolly, with one neat and orderly queue to buy one’s
beer.
