All aboard the 27 |
Route 27 was introduced to link the west to the north of
London, originally it ran between Hounslow and Muswell Hill.
The route operated throughout World War II. Peter Cushing
used the route to reach the theatre near Kew Bridge. Singer Matt Monro was a driver on route 27 prior his musical career taking off.
